Please fill out this form and click submit. If you have questions or concerns with registration, please contact Zach Gors (zach@teatrinity.org).
KFC (Kids for Christ) Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year - alternating 5th grade one week and 6th grade the next week. These early middle school years can be challenging for kids to navigate. KFC offers an opportunity for them to come together to learn how to grow their relationship with God, learn how to grow their relationships with each other, and we have some fun along the way. We also provide various music, service projects, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

KFC-Kids for Christ! Youth Ministry Code of Conduct

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34-35

Recognizing that we are the hands and feet of Christ, our actions and words should be a reflection of Him. By participating in Youth Group activities, you also represent Tea Lutheran Church, your parents, friends, and most importantly, yourself. What you say and do, has an impact on others; and that impact should be a positive one. Therefore, you will be expected to abide by the following Code of Conduct.

Show respect for YOURSELF including but not limited to:
1. Be an example of Christ (1 John 2:3-6) – loving, present, aware, appreciative, appropriate
2. Your mind – open to learning, have a positive attitude, use appropriate language (Proverbs 16:16, 18:15)
3. Your soul – a receptive heart (James 1:19-21)
4. Your body – nutrition, sleep, hygiene, no illegal substances or weapons (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Show respect for OTHERS including but not limited to:
1. Reach out to others (Matthew 25:21-40)
2. Value others above yourself (Romans 12:10) (1 John 4:7-8) 3. Personal space of others – no excessive hugging, hand-holding, touching
4. Others means everyone – elders, younger youth, peers, parents, in or outside your group/church

Show respect for the ENVIRONMENT including but not limited to:
1. Take care of the space around you and leave it better than when you found it (Gen 1:27-31, Psalm 24:1)
2. Walk don’t run when inside the building (this falls under respect for self and others too)
3. Safety - every event has physical boundaries, stay within those boundaries

At no time will disruptive or unsafe behavior be tolerated. This applies whether we are at the church or on an outing.
1. Disruptive behavior includes any words or actions that are purposefully disrespectful and distracts from the activity. If this occurs, a parent or guardian will be notified of the disruptive behavior. If it continues, a parent or guardian will be called and the student will be sent home.
2. Unsafe behavior includes any words or actions that puts self or others in harm’s way. If you notice this kind of behavior from a peer or another adult, please let a trusted chaperone know. If this occurs, a parent or guardian will be notified, the student will be sent home, and participation in certain events may be limited.

As a KFC youth group member, I have prayerfully read and understand KFC’s Youth Ministry’s Code of Conduct and will abide by it.

As a parent of a youth in the KFC Youth Group, I have read and understand KFC’s Code of Conduct, and I support it. I expect my child to adhere to it at all times.
